Sam found an appreciation for ceramics starting in 2014 during a mental health art development workshop.

With a lesson on figure building he found a passion making people of fame/pop culture for those close to him and eventually making figures also of his friends giving them the same stature. To quote Steve Latimer III ‘These loose little idols of celebrities and friends puncture the ridiculousness of celebrity (by giving his friends the same status and rendering all in the same
childish manner).
